Pink eye, podcast titles, and planning for 2026 (kidding... kind of) 😉

Life First Business Strategy

for Entrepreneurs

This week’s Better Together Round-Up is here! Think: one game-changing strategy, the resources you didn’t know you needed, and a few fun favorites we’re loving right now. Quick to read, packed with value—you in? 🕒 3-minute read, unlimited inspiration.

Hi Reader,

Like our new format? We changed it again. I blame it on the fact that our house is equal parts glitter and cobwebs right now, and I like to be really creative this time of year.

The girls turned 12 this week (twelve!), and in true twin fashion, we went full Taylor Swift meets Halloween. Disco balls, witches, and bats. Showgirl sparkles and skeletons. I even caved and bought that Amazon flying witch that everyone is talking about—and yes, she’s strapped to our garage like she owns the place. 😅

It’s wild to see them growing up, but it also feels like a mirror for everything else that’s shifting right now—especially in the business.

I have really leaned into strategic shifts. Needle moving things that no one sees. Which actually means, tis the season for testing: new email segments, SEO experiments, podcast title tweaks, and just generally poking at what’s actually working vs. what’s just taking up space.

Here’s what I’m noticing: the smaller the test, the bigger the clarity.

We’re not overhauling everything overnight. We’re just getting curious again. And honestly? That’s been the real game-changer. It’s easy to forget how energizing it feels to simply try something new—not because it’s guaranteed to succeed, but because it moves you forward.

And yes, in between all this... I got pink eye. Because of course I did. 😂 And I may have started making a Google doc for Christmas gifts (no shame). But also...

You’re Invited: The Co-Op Open House!

To celebrate FIVE YEARS of our Collective Co-Op (what?!), we’re doing what we do best—upgrading the whole thing.

We’ve got a brand new Open House happening, and if you’ve ever wanted to:

  • Build a business that actually supports your life
  • Plug into a community of women who get it
  • Use a proven system to grow with strategy (not stress)...

👉 Come to the Open House!

We’ll walk you through what’s changing, what’s staying, and how you can be part of our next evolution. This only launches once a year (coming this November) so don't miss it!

Catch you next Friday,
Holly

P.S. NEW! Want to choose how often you hear from us?
👉 Just the Friday newsletters, please. You’ll still get the goods—just the simplified version.
👉 Send me everything! I want all the updates, launches, and behind-the-scenes.

Your Weekly Anti-Social™ Shift

TRY > PERFECT

Straight from our Anti-Social School™ Playbook.

Between experimenting with new growth levers (like SEO, segmentation, and strategy-first content) and evolving how we show up as a brand, I’m reminded of something powerful:

You don’t need to perfect it. You just need to try.

Whether you’re testing a podcast title or decorating your garage with a flying witch, progress starts with the willingness to experiment.

Small tweaks—made consistently—are what create compound growth.

🛠 Try this: Pick one area of your business where you’ve been waiting for “perfect” (content, offers, schedule... anything). Now ask yourself: What’s the smallest possible version of this that I could try this week?

Post the draft. Test the idea. Block the hour.
Done is better than perfect—and done is how you learn what actually works.

Life First Business Strategy for Entrepreneurs Hey Reader, There’s something really vulnerable about sharing numbers publicly—especially when they don’t follow the “up and to the right” storyline everyone expects. But I want to tell you the truth anyway. This year, our business revenue dropped 30% compared to last year. And 75% of that? Was completely intentional. We chose to: Launch the Collective Co-Op only once a year (it’s coming back in November!) 👀 Make Anti-Social School™ evergreen and...
