Creating Life First Business Strategy

for Entrepreneurs

This week’s Better Together Round-Up is here! Think: one game-changing strategy, the resources you didn’t know you needed, and a few fun favorites we’re loving right now. Quick to read, packed with value—you in? 🕒 3-minute read, unlimited inspiration.

Hi Reader,

Today I turn 47. 🎂

I started my business at 41.
Walked away from my entire corporate career at 43.
Retired my husband.
Started traveling the world as a family.
Rebuilt. Pivoted. Simplified. Rebuilt again.
All in my 40's.

Not because I was reckless. Because I was ready. There was this quiet nudge I couldn’t ignore anymore. That I was capable of more freedom.
More alignment.
More life. 💛

Was it terrifying? Yes.
Was it logical on paper? Not always.
Was it worth it?

Every single time.

The biggest myth we’re told is that reinvention is for your 20s.

It’s not.

Your 40s are where clarity gets louder.
Where tolerance for misalignment gets lower.
Where you finally trust yourself enough to listen.

At 27, I wanted titles.
At 37, I wanted security.
At 47?

I want impact.
I want depth. My new fav word. 😉
I want adventures with my family that would have never happened behind a desk.

It’s not the social posts.
It’s not the optics.
It’s not the highlight reel.

It’s the friends.
The community.
The conversations.
The women building brave, aligned businesses.

That’s the real win.

Use today's email as a reminder.

You can build something successful.
You can walk away from something “safe.”
You can rebuild more than once.

And none of it has to make sense to anyone else. The only question that matters is:

Are you aligned with the woman you’re becoming?

Because if you feel that nudge — the one whispering “there’s more for you” — it’s probably not random. It might be your next chapter calling.

If you looked at my Instagram, you’d see business wins. But that’s not the proof.

The proof is:

  • A random Tuesday afternoon in another country.
  • My husband and I both home at 3 pm to get the girls off the bus.
  • Building something that supports our life — not consumes it.
  • Clients texting that they finally feel in control of their revenue.

That didn’t happen by accident. It happened because we chose intentional over impressive. And that choice compounds.

47 feels strong.
It feels intentional.
It feels like I’m just getting started.

If you feel the nudge…

Don’t dismiss it.

It’s never too late. 💛

✨Your Weekly Anti-Social™ Shift

Build for Impact, Not Applause

The algorithm won’t tuck your kids into bed.
Viral posts won’t sit next to you on a plane.
Vanity metrics don’t create freedom.

Impact does.

This week, ask yourself:

  • If social media disappeared tomorrow, how would I still create revenue?
  • Who are the 10 real relationships I should nurture instead of chasing new followers?
  • What would my business look like if it was designed around my actual life?

Then make one small move in that direction.

Quiet moves.
Aligned moves.
Life-first moves.

That’s the Anti-Social way. 💛

P.S. If this stirred something in you — that quiet nudge — come join us for the 3-Day Reset. You never know when inspiration will hit… but you can create space to hear it.

Life First Business Strategy for Entrepreneurs Hey Reader, It’s officially my birthday week 🎉 And I am “that” person who loves birthdays. 🩷 Which means a few things are happening at once: I’m reflecting (a little more than usual). I’m sharing things I normally keep a little closer to the vest. We have some surprises this week to celebrate together. And today? I’m letting you steal my spring launch strategy. A brand new podcast episode dropped this morning where I take you behind the scenes of...

Quick to read, packed with value—you in? 🕒 3-minute read, unlimited inspiration. Hi Reader, I need to confess something. Life First Business Strategy for Entrepreneurs Hey Reader, Before you jump into your day, I want to offer a quick reflection. What’s the thought about money that shows up most often for you right now?Just notice it — no fixing, no judging. Because here’s what I’ve learned the hard way: most of us are building our businesses from those thoughts, whether we realize it or not. Money has always been a mindset struggle for me. I’m the main earner in our family, and for a long time, that came with...
