Life First Business Strategy

for Entrepreneurs

This week’s Better Together Round-Up is here! Think: one game-changing strategy, the resources you didn’t know you needed, and a few fun favorites we’re loving right now. Quick to read, packed with value—you in? 🕒 3-minute read, unlimited inspiration.

Hi Reader,

Four years ago this week, I walked away from 22 years in Corporate.
I told myself I’d never forget the date.
And yet… I almost did.

I’ve told the story so many times:
➡️ I wanted to put my kids on the bus.
➡️ I wanted to pick them up.
➡️ I wanted to go to a random yoga class without checking PTO.
➡️ I wanted to reset—my body, my schedule, my life.

And I have. Mostly.

But here’s what no one tells you: working in a corporate office during a phase where there never was a work-from-home policy, while parenting and trying to survive perimenopause, takes a toll. And I felt and still feel every ounce of it.

I had twins at 35. Because of complications by 40, I was navigating symptoms I didn’t even have words for. This year, I finally hired a functional medicine doctor. We're two months into testing, and my biggest takeaway?

✨ I’m okay.
✨ My routine is actually healthy.
✨ And... I still have a LOT of work to do.

This season feels quieter—intentionally. I planned for that. But the next step has been a long time coming. I know that to get to the next level, it's not something I have done before.

I keep getting asked what my 2026 goals are, and here’s the honest answer:
I sort of know.

  • I want this community to be thriving. (Hi, new Anti-Social School™ and Co-Op members 👋)
  • I want our podcast to be globally known.
  • I want to feel fantastic in my 40s, going into my 50's.
  • I want to be the best parent I can be—in a time where middle school feels like a battlefield.
  • I want to feel excited about the chapter ahead

And right now? I just want to survive the holidays without losing myself in the noise.
So the next 6 weeks or so, I am taking off. “Off” meaning the non-negotiables stay—podcast, email, current clients.

Everything else? Getting set down gently.

I’ve stopped posting on social completely. No announcement. No drama. Just… nothing since Thanksgiving.

And I don’t miss it. But I never do. We also had one of our best months of the year. Without the social drama.

I’m claiming the rest of the year for me.

Today, I’m heading to my favorite spa—Paloma. The building is literally infused with crystals (IYKYK), and I leave there feeling like a completely different person. Lighter. Calmer. Me again.

I've got the Christmas movies queued up on Netflix.

Instead of work dates, I have friend dates. Coffee dates. And family dates. 💛

If you’ve been craving a fresh start too, this is your permission slip.
Take the walk.
Turn off the app.
Book the massage.
Let “enough” be enough for this year.
Refuel your cup.

What is ONE thing you can do today to reset yourself? That's what Fridays are for after all, right?

We’re allowed to rest before we rise again. I know the next thing is right around the corner. I just have to quiet down to find it. 💛

Until next Friday,
Holly

✨Your Weekly Anti-Social™ Shift

Grace is Strategy

If social is draining, let it go.
If your schedule feels heavy, lighten it.
If you need January off, take it.

This isn’t laziness. It’s leadership.
Knowing what’s essential—and what can wait—is one of the strongest moves you can make.

Take 5 minutes today and answer this:

📝 What will I protect, no matter what?
🧹 What can I clear off my plate, even temporarily?
💛 What do I need to feel like myself again?

That’s your shift.
Big things come from small pivots.
