This week’s Better Together Round-Up is here! Think: one game-changing strategy, the resources you didn’t know you needed, and a few fun favorites we’re loving right now. Quick to read, packed with value—you in? 🕒 3-minute read, unlimited inspiration.
Hi Reader,
If you’ve ever tried to hype yourself up in mid-January, Ohio… you know.
We’re on day 20 of “gray with a chance of naps,” and if I am being honest, I am ready to pack my bags and move somewhere warm. Just in time for the 5 inches of snow we are supposed to get tomorrow. (Re: Why my last two Friday emails about soup and sleep 😴.)
But this week, I did something I almost talked myself out of: a full-blown brand photoshoot. Yep—hair, makeup, outfits, props. The whole shebang. I do these shoots every quarter, and while it always feels like a lot in the moment, I never regret it.
Why?
Because it’s a physical reset.
A line in the sand that says: I’m still in this.
Even if it’s cold. Even if I’d rather be wrapped in a blanket. (Which I would).
Every 90 days, I block time for a shoot—not because I need more content (although that’s nice), but because it forces me to show up for the future version of myself I’m building.
I lay out outfits that match the brand I’m becoming.
I step in front of the camera as a CEO, not just a content creator.
And most importantly? I feel that shift in real time.
I bring my husband along with me to film b-roll, and we make it a whole date day. Don't judge, this year it was Chick-fil-a in the car because it was so dang cold! A mild 9 degrees.
It’s not about the pictures. It’s about the posture.
(Though yes, the pictures are awesome and make content planning SO much easier. 📸)
It also allows me to step outside of the business. To really look at things from the CEO's perspective. What content do I need? Why? What's coming up? How can I elevate it? My new fav word right now.
My process. Create your own momentum.

This year, I teamed up with one of our amazing Club members, Lisa, to plan out a full photo storyline—and it made such a difference. Outfits, props, energy... everything clicked.
I wanted each version of “Holly” to come through with intention:
- CEO Holly — polished and powerful, because yes, I do know my stuff.
- Podcast Host Holly — the relatable, real-life version you tune into each week.
- Community Builder Holly — approachable and grounded, the one you trust to help you take your next step.
Each role had its own vibe, look, and message. I can’t wait to show you what we created!
You Don’t Need Motivation. You Need a Rhythm.
We tend to wait for motivation like it’s Amazon Prime—like it should just show up at our door when things feel blah.
But the truth? Motivation is a byproduct.
Momentum is something you make.
This year, I gave myself one simple, sustainable focus: cooking.
Not to master it. Not to hustle in the kitchen.
But because it’s a creative, nourishing rhythm I can return to—one meal (or moment) at a time.
Latest in the soup rotation: this kale + tortellini beauty 🍲
And I’m loving this cookbook for easy inspo all year long.
Momentum also looks like booking our entire spring break trip on points. 🙌
(We used the Chase Sapphire Reserve + Marriott Bonvoy Amex.)
Curious how? Here’s exactly how we made it happen.
Inside the Club, we took this idea of momentum and made it visual.
I taught a bonus workshop on mapping out your business—literally drawing how people find you, how you nurture them, and how your offers connect.
It’s simple. It’s strategic. And it’s so satisfying.
If you work with me 1:1 or inside the Co-Op, I’ll build your map with you.
Because once you see it all laid out? You move differently.

Choose Your Reset Ritual
Whether you are in a snowstorm or sunshine, this weekend, pick your version of a reset.
- Book a photoshoot
- Clean your closet
- Re-map your systems
- Cook something nourishing
Whatever helps you reconnect with who you’re becoming—that’s your momentum maker.
Let it be enough. Then do it again next quarter.
Until next Friday,
Holly
