Hi Reader,
Letâs talk about sprint season. (aka, you are pushing for a big goal, deadline, date, etc.) But not in the âevery hustle has a highlight reelâ kind of wayâbut the real way it goes down when youâre running a values-driven business and a life.
For me, a sprint lasts about two weeks. I can go all in for 14 days, but after that? If I donât recalibrate, Iâm not fun to be around. đ
So before this round kicked off, my husband and I snuck away for a grown-up-only vacationâonly the second time in 12 years.
Hi from Lake Oconee, GA đ
It was everything we needed: ⨠Sleep. ⨠Hiking. ⨠A CBD-infused hot stone massage (magical). ⨠Netflix and chill. ⨠And I finally started The Housemaid series highly recommend.
That reset gave me the fuel to step into a high-capacity weekâfully present, fully aligned.
Because normally, I work about 20â25 hours a week. But this week? Weâre clocking in closer to 30.
And you know what? Still way better than "Corporate Burnout Holly".
Now Iâm back and pouring into our communityâand hereâs exactly what this week looked like:
đĄ Monday
Finally got home around 5 pm after what shouldâve been a one-hour flight (it took eight). Showered fast and made it to gymnasticsâbecause thatâs what moms do.
đť Tuesday
6am: Head-down focused work blockâprepping for our open house, inbox zero attempt. âMorning: Bustop drop-off, workout, sauna. âMidday: Hosted the open house + free Slack coaching. âEvening: Dance class chauffeur. Finished slides in the car (thank you, hotspot).
đ Wednesday
6am: Emails + podcast prep. âBig moment: Interviewed Amanda Goetz, the new host of Girlboss - Ambition 2.0. (Coming in January!!!) Ekkk! Open house, Slack coaching, and then: âHaircut (yes, still workingâbrought the laptop), quick nap (real life), dinner, and Dancing with the Stars catch up.
đ Thursday
5am: Writing this email to you. âMorning flow: Bustop, walk, sauna. âMidday: Hosted another open house + coached. âAfternoon: Discovery calls and podcast interview. (Working to get Q1 done and take December and January off!) âEvening: Dance class drop-off and a walk with my husband (our fave way to catch up).
đ˛ Friday (That's Today!)
Slow morning. Walk. Sauna. âGoal: Organize Christmas stuff while the girls were at school. Just soak in the quiet. Recharge. But also, one kid is sick, so we know how that goes. đ¤ˇââď¸
Iâm not sharing this to glamorize busyâbut to show you the ebb and flow that keeps things sustainable. â I can sprint.
But I wonât do it forever. Trust me. I have wreath making, decorating and fun holiday plans ahead (where work will not be the priority). đ â This and other life first strategies are what we hold you accountable to inside the Co-Op, which is officially open, and our Open Houses are where the magic happens. â Theyâre my favoriteâbecause you can literally feel what itâs like to be inside.
⨠If you missed it, reply âREPLAYâ and Iâll send over the private recording, our Profit Toolkit, and the Life-First Revenue Map we created just for this launch.
And hereâs my challenge for you: âLook at your calendar like a coachânot a critic.
Ask:
Where can I intentionally sprint?
Where can I intentionally rest?
And whatâs one ânon-negotiable anchorâ I can protect daily?
My schedule this week wasnât perfectâbut it was strategic. Yours can be too.
Choose your pace. Then build your business to support it.
You've got this. Catch you next Friday, Holly

â¨Your Weekly Anti-Social⢠Shift
Sprinting â Surviving
You donât have to avoid busy seasons. You just have to build a rhythm that includes recovery.
Hereâs your move this week:
đ§ââď¸ Anchor One Thing Daily.â Pick one thing each day that brings you back to yourself.
It could be a 20-minute sauna. A walk. A quiet 10 minutes with your coffee before the world wakes up.
If your calendar is full, your nervous system deserves space.
Because youâre not just building a businessâyouâre building a life you actually want to live. â
Some of the links I share may be affiliate links, which means I might earn a small commissionâat no extra cost to youâif you decide to make a purchase. I only ever recommend tools and resources I truly love and use myself. Think of it as a little thank-you for supporting what we do around here. đŤś
