Can AI be your strategist?

This week's Better Together Round-Up is here! Think: one strategy that actually moves the needle, the resources you didn't know you needed, and a few fun favorites we're loving right now. Quick to read, packed with value. You in? đź•’ 3-minute read, unlimited inspiration.

Hi Reader,

I get asked this almost every week now.

“Can I just use AI as my strategist?”

Short answer? Yes.

I use Claude every single day. My AI Squad brainstorms first drafts, runs my revenue math, audits our website, and flags every sentence that sounds like a robot wrote it (hi, Barb the Bot). It has given me back hours I used to spend staring at a blank Google Doc.

It’s a good strategist. It’s just missing some information.

It doesn’t know your plan was perfect on Sunday night and fell apart by Tuesday because your teenager needed a ride, a permission slip, and a 45-minute conversation in the car you did not see coming.

(Hi. It’s me. Parenting teenagers is a whole new level of calendar chaos.)

It doesn’t know your mom just moved in and you’re the one driving her to appointments now.

It doesn’t know you’ve been running on four hours of sleep, or that anxiety has made every small decision feel enormous this month.

It doesn’t know the launch you keep “procrastinating” on is the one that didn’t sell last year, and you’re scared to try again.

AI will build you a flawless 90-day plan. It just won’t notice you’re tired, or remember that last fall looked exactly like this, too.

People do that.

So lately I’ve been asking myself how much of my support is actually human right now.

Because you can be doing all the right things. The right offer, the right emails, the right prompts. And still feel underwater when nobody in the room knows your life.

That’s why the Collective Co-Op exists.

My favorite retreat tradition? One photo with every client. Every woman in those photos has a name and a business I know inside and out.

We don’t meet in a hotel ballroom. You come to our actual house and sit at our kitchen table to map out your next move.

My team knows your revenue goals, your life goals, and your schedule (yes, take the vacation). My girls know your names. My husband hears about your wins at dinner. Even Poppy (the puppy) sits in on the occasional call.

Nine months together. The launch that sold out and the one that didn’t. The busy months and the quiet ones. When a month goes sideways, you’re not figuring it out alone.

The Co-Op is open for 2027. Ten seats. Applications close November 25, and we don’t do Black Friday, so there’s no sale coming.

If you joined us for Backstage Pass, your $500 credit is waiting through 11:59 PM ET tonight. Co-Op alumni and Anti-Social School™ students, we’ll credit what you’ve already invested, too.

I want one of next year’s photos to be with you.

XO,
Holly

P.S. Not sure the Co-Op fits the season you’re in? Hit reply and tell me what’s going on. I’ll tell you honestly.

Your Weekly Anti-Social™ Shift

Count your humans.

Grab a sticky note and list every place you went for business help this month. Now circle the ones who know your name, your kids’ names, and what your calendar looked like last week. If AI is doing most of your thinking with you, it’s working without half the picture. Use it for the drafts and the math, and bring the hard calls to people who know you. Want to hear what that sounds like? These are my Co-Op clients, in their own words.

Worth Clicking

A few things I’m clicking, buying, and recommending this week.

  • I’m speaking at the Sustainable CEO Summit: AI Edition, free and virtual November 3 to 5. If you want to see how women are actually using AI in their businesses, start there.
  • If you keep waiting for life to calm down before you make room for it, I talked about exactly that on Beyond the Bottleneck, a free audio series from Carly Clark Zimmer. My episode covers the calendar rules and quarterly family planning that got us to 12 countries.
  • I was fully influenced on this skincare. No regrets.
  • My favorite new vitamin is officially part of the morning routine and taste like watermelon gummies.
  • Tis the season for matching family pajamas. I grabbed ours mid-October at 50% off! Even a bandana for Poppy!

Some of the links I share may be affiliate links, which means I might earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you, if you decide to make a purchase. I only ever recommend tools and resources I truly love and use myself. Think of it as a little thank-you for supporting what we do around here. 🫶
